On Wednesday 19 October the Caterham Dene Minor Injury Unit (MIU) will be temporarily closed from 8am to approximately 2pm to undertake essential maintenance upgrades.
During this time the unit will not be able to see any patients. We advise the public to call NHS 111 who will be able to advise on alternative arrangements.
First Community are no longer able to run their Musculoskeletal (MSK) service from East Surrey Hospital. Clinics held at, Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Therapies Unit will continue.
This Bank Holiday weekend our Caterham Dene Minor Injury Unit (MIU) is open from 8am-8pm every day for adults aged 18yrs plus.

The Board of First Community Health and Care are deeply saddened at the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this difficult time.
Carolyn Conquest from Oxted was referred to First Community after suffering a fall on holiday last year which left her hospitalised for over three months.
First Community have appointed Sarah Tomkins to be their new Chief Executive Officer. Sarah (pictured) is currently employed by CSH Surrey where she has been working as the Director of Adult Services.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has rated community services provided by First Community Health and Care as ‘good’ across each of its five domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led, with an overall outstanding rating for their Community Urgent Care Service.
Today the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published its report following an unannounced inspection in March and April 2022.
The CQCs overall rating for community health services provided by First Community was ‘Good’ across each of the five CQC domains; Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led with an overall outstanding rating for their Community Urgent Care Service.
