Service Lead for First Dietitians

I have worked in many areas of dietetics in both acute and community settings but have spent the majority of my dietetic career working with adults with enteral feeding devices in the community. I enjoy community dietetics because of the difference that dietitians working in the community can make to people’s lives. I am passionate about student training and have worked closely with the University of Surrey to deliver student education programmes. Outside of work I spend my time studying for my MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, cooking, sewing and gardening.

We have a team of Community Dietitians and Prescribing Support Dietitians, covering east Surrey and parts of West Sussex.

Hello! Nutrition is a necessity for human life, and this delicate discipline is both humbling and liberating. I am always optimistic about the future and naturally have a keen interest in larger groups, socioeconomic and environmental health, and evolving food policy. Working within the community gives me opportunities to address nutrition-related factors for both communities and individuals alike (complex problem-solving is a guilty pleasure of mine).

P.S. I enjoy eating.
