Find out about healthcare careers at First Community at local recruitment event
On Wednesday 10 April 2019, 11:00 – 15:00, First Community is holding a recruitment event at the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill, to share information on our current vacancies and talk to potential applicants about careers in healthcare.
First Community clinicians will provide guidance and advice for local people interested in NHS community healthcare occupations. These include:
Community and sepcialist rehabilitation therapies and nursing
- Community neurological rehabilitation (including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and stroke specialist nursing)
- Community physiotherapy

- Heart failure service
- Respiratory service
- Continence (adults)
- Intermediate care team
- Occupational therapy
- Tissue viability
- Proactive care team
Therapies and nursing in clinics
- Integrated care & assessment treatment service (ICATS)
- Outpatient physiotherapy
- Nutrition and dietetics
- Speech and language therapy
Bed based care
- Caterham Dene Hospital ward (nursing and therapies)
- Nurse advisors for care homes
- Community beds
0-19 children and family services
- Health visiting
- School nursing
- Children's therapies
The event is for anyone wanting to start a career in healthcare or for those already in a healthcare role seeking new opportunities.
