Published on 12/10/2018

First Community is delighted to have been shortlisted for an Employee Ownership Association award in the category of ‘Public Service Mutual of the Year’. This category is for ‘organisations who can evidence how their employee owned status is improving performance within their business and the lasting and positive impact they are achieving in the communities they serve or the wider society’.

First Community’s Chief Executive, Sarah Billiald, said: ‘there are direct links between employee ownership, employee satisfaction and patient satisfaction. Being an employee owned organisation and having a highly engaged workforce makes a real difference to the quality of care we provide’. ‘Being shortlisted for this award is fantastic recognition of the positive impact First Community has on the community we serve, especially in light of being rated Outstanding by CQC in 2017’ Sarah added.

The winner will be announced on Monday 19 November 2018.
